Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.......and it's always on the inside. Some very ugly beautiful people out there.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people might consider someone ugly and another person say that same person is gorgeous. It depends on what someone considers is beautiful/ugly. To me, a beautiful face is long but shapely eybrows, big eyes, full lips, a small nose.. but then again someone can have all those looks and be ugly. It depends on how it is put together

If you look at the history of fashion and what was considered beautiful at what time period you will generally find that whatever is rarest or hardest to attain is considered the most beautiful. In periods where food is scarce, fuller figures are considered beautiful. In periods where a tans from outdoor work is common, paleness is idolized. Beauty is that which is most unattainable.

actually it's been scientifically proven that symmetry in one's face is beautiful and more appealing to the eye. If you think about though sometimes you see models who aren't traditionally "pretty" but very "striking" this has to do with the symmetry of their face. most of us are pretty lopsided (not that it's especially noticeable) but i think everyone's beautiful in they're own way :)
