I'm looking to spend around $50, with at least 512k memory or for normal people terms 15-20 hours of music. Hopefully with FM radio and record, and voice record.
I probably won't get all that, but that would just be my dream MP3 player...

I have a Creative Vision M, Creative Zen, Creative Nano and I've owned Rio Nitrus, Chiba, RCA etc...If you're just looking for a simple and easy use player that's compact and cool to work out with for about $50 bucks (actually 59), take my advice get an Creative Nano. It's light, has excellent sound, small but with a full screen, voice recorder, fm radio, line in, comes in cool colors, arm band, a single batterly last forever, it's as big as a pack of gum and unlike the shuffle you can see what's playing, organize music in folders, etc.. Walmart is has them on sale or you can get them from this place online http://etronics.resultspage.com/electronics/512mb%20Mp3

Coolist thing about this player is that it works seemlessly with Windows Media Player and Yahoo Music Player. No subscription service but come on you're dreaming if you think you're going to get a $50 buck player that is subscription compatible... but one day.

Creative Zen Micro...iPods are lousy - they are the subject of a patent-infringement lawsuit by Creative Media Labs (the makers of the Zen Micro) because Apple stole patented software to index the iPods
