Whisper, I'd not like everyone to hear the sweet nothings that I wanna tell my gal, and since I visit the library quite often, I wouldn't want to be unwelcome there.

I would hate only being able to yell for the rest of my life.
As much as I enjoy the occasional "Woohoo!" at a ball game, or a "Use your turn signal, dumba$$" thru my car window, only being able to yell would take away my ability to have a private conversation with someone. I don't need for everyone at the bank to know that I'm withdrawing a bunch of cash from my account.
Also, I have found that when you whisper, people lean in to hear what you have to say.

Yelling is worst. Suppose I was to ever find myself in the position that I was doing something that I shouldn't be doing along with somebody else and was about to get caught, yelling would only give away my position. Whispering on the other hand could always be amplified by one of those thingy's... you know that thing that cops always use to tell people to drop the gun in movies.

I'd rather only be able to whisper than yell! Yelling hurts my throat!

I'd rather yell because I pretty much do that already. Whispering would be too much of a change for me.

Both would be rather annoying, but if i had a choice I would rather be the whisperer. They yelling might get you slapped around a bit eventually.

I would rather only be able to whisper. I expect that would annoy fewer people, and attractive women would have to get really close in order to hear me. That would be a good thing.

Yelling would be worse. I'd give myself quite a headache. Not to mention a sore throat. If people don't hear you, you can always jump up and down to get their attention.
