Our company gives us Monday the 3rd off as well as the 4th. But if they didn't, I would still take off Monday. 4 day weekend! Woo Hoo!

I work in the transportation industry, therefore we are working everyday except the 4th and even on the fourth, someone will have to be on call. As you may know, truck drivers have to run no matter what.

My company gives us our Birthday off, every year, and as mine is on the seventh of july, I am allowed to use that day, along with the fouth to have that long weekend.
