yes it does work, but it was a very cruel and unusual punishment meant for prisoners back in ancient times. you only gain about half an inch in length, but this is merely from over stretching ligaments.
this height subsides within a year.
to gain real height, there must be a bone lengthening. since the skin only grows to accomodate the bone length.
There is noway to lengthen a bone without surgery to pass a metal rod through it, and induce rapid bone growth to fill the gap.

Are you talking about your body heighth or the length of your dick. The answer to either is nope it don't work! Sorry!
