Ok I have to bring this up but I just see really mean people who leave comments on here saying they need to spell and have better grammer, but they tell them in a mean way, it pissess me off. I have a little bit of a learning disabilty my spelling is not all that great, I do use the spell checker sometimes the thing does not work, no one is perfect But I still got a good head on my shoulders and go to school and work unlike some people. who else hates this??

in my opinion spelling is not that important on the internet.. it's not like it's a class and your getting graded for spelling. I hate it too. everyone isnt perfect and i guess whoever has a problem with the way people spell things should get a life and stop worrying about it.

We have one of those guys at our job. Ever word has to be spelled right and you mush know how to say it.. Today boss had a email he got. The words are all there just the first and last letter is in the right spot. But all the other letters are mix up. Of course Mr. known all couldn't unstand it. But it was a test. About 55% of the people that read it knows what it said. But like me some words I don't know even if they are in the right order. Yes I also hate when people tell me I am not saying a word right or miss spelled it. But I can read the whole line and know what that one word means if it is misspelled..

It's not a question of being smart, it's about just taking a couple of seconds to make sure what you are saying or asking makes sense. I mean, let's be for real. A lot of people hate reading stuff in all caps, no punctuation, bad spelling, all small caps, etc. It's horrible and people consistently do it.
My grammar's not great, but I try to be as clear as possible.
I have never criticized anyone who's had bad grammar or spelling on Answers, but if I see a question where the grammar and spelling is bad, I'll just completely ignore it and won't answer the question.

Many answerers want to pick on somebody, especially if they just had a fight with someone in their family and ran to the computer for refuge. You can tell when somebody's angry on Answers; they turn their anger toward everyone else. Criticizing spelling is one of the ways they can pick on the questioner to make it seem like THEY are the smart ones and WE are the stupid ones. These people have found a great way to never get the best answer.

Sorry, i just assume that everyone is not as smart as I am. lol.
Sometimes, however, spelling and grammar do get in the way of understanding a question, so if you take a little more time to make sure your question is clear, the the smarta$$es like me will have less to say.

I'm sorry. I don't mean to be nasty, I just see it and point it out. I also try to do it in a humorous or somewhat interesting way, so it isn't just the most boring thing ever. I'm sorry if it comes out meaner than I intended it, but I do mean it in as nice a way as possible. I make spelling mistakes, too. Sometimes I correct them, sometimes I don't, but I guess I can see where you're coming from.

You say "unlike some people" in your question. It's these "some people" that people rag on. The "some people" think it's cool when they don't know something, or don't try, or don't work. It's not cool. It's annoying. Don't lump yourself into the crowd of annoying people. Just keep doing you best.
