i like it, i think it sounds pretty and unique (in a good way), don't worry about what all the other ppl answered, all that really matters is that you like it, but i say its pretty name

People who make up names like Kelanie, Shaniqua, Rosicuietiuttuette... or any other names people make up just makes their child seem ghetto and their parents seem like idiots.
Please give your child a serious name, not something you made up because you have an identity crisis of some sort.

Geees, have a little compassion...you do what you want homegirl, I created my daughter's name too, its Alexi, I liked Lexy but it turned out that name is common so I added an A because my first daughter's name starts with an A.

i know a girl named Kalani, its hawaiian, a little different than kelanie, but better it means "the sky"

I like it, and if you like it...who cares what the mass public feels. People are always opposed to something new or different. I like it because I've never heard it before, it sounds a tad Irish.
