For those of you who are not Minnesota Twins fans and / or don't watch baseball, Joe Mauer is catcher for the Minnesota Twins.

Joe Mauer is an excellent baseball player, playing catcher position. He was first pick in 01' right after his highschool year. This year he has improved and is leading the American League with his outstanding at-bats, and is now being compared to Ichiro. He's still young, and is one of the best catchers right now. He'll only get better.

I am not a Twins fan, but I do know that Mauer is the best catcher in the game. He had a slow year last year, but has bounced back nicely by leading the majors in batting average.

Well, how are the Twins doing? I don't even know that, so I don't think I know what to think of Joe Mauer, if he's good, send him to the Cardinals, that's what I think.

I would like to see his power numbers go up, but other than that he is proving to be one better backstops in the game.
