your bodies and how they function before you start having (stupid) unprotected sex (outside of marriage) and end up asking the same questions over and over? Yes! If you have unprotected sex you could be pregnant! I don't care what day of the month it was. Learn about your body!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you, I feel much better now;)

Don't get me started on the men and the part they play. I only suggest that if a girl is going to allow a boy/man to have sex with her she should fully understand what could happen and how. In cases of rape...I am so very sorry and can understand that situation. Man, when I was in school we had tests on the female cycle, ovulation, pregnancy...now do they only teach how to put on a condom in health class?

BTW...In high school I fully understood my body and what could happen if I started having sex...so I decided to wait until I found a man who LOVED me ENOUGH to ask me to marry him;-) (I had plenty of guys pursuing me, but could see through their evil plans {{hee, hee}})

Tigger...I do believe parents are the key to the heritage they will leave their children. My daughter is 10 and I have been 'talking' to her about this stuff since she was six (in very general terms). As she gets older we talk a little more in depth. I am pregnant with our third now and I teach her about the female cycle...and she askes me questions about it here and there. She knows how babies are made, but we have not talked about the emotional side of sex...I think she is too young for that. Yep, moms and dads, please talk to your kids about this stuff.

i agree u should be a teacher a sex ed teacher then u could teach them a thing or 2 then wont be so many questions like could i be pregnant its a little silly how many youngsters are actually having unprotected sex surely there parents should keep a closer eye on them and put them on the pill and explain to them more about the dangers of unprotected sex i know schools didnt teach much about sex and that sort of stuff while i was at school im 21 and i havent got any children yet so i think its down to the parents to explain to there children as much as it is down to the school so then they cant blame the schools for not teaching about sex education what do u think ???????????

Thank you for saying that. I think a campaign needs to be started about the implications of sex- whether protected or not, just like they have no-smoking commercials. I think a lot of people would benefit from something like that. It's nice to see someone take a stand!!

As far as the men go: DON'T HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX WITH GIRLS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE A DADDY!!!! Nothing is 100% except abstinence. You have sex, get a girl pregnant, be prepared to have to support that child.

Guys need to take responsiblity too when it comes to unprotected sex. An unwanted pregnancy or sexually transmitted disease can have just as much impact on their lives. This generation has no excuse for either problem, the information is out there everyday on every tv channel. Yes, it could happen to you!!

I always wonder why these childrens parents aren't talking to them about sex. When my child gets older she will know about sex, using a condom, how you get pregnant, everything. I don't care how uncomfortable I feel talking about it or what. I get tired of hearing parents say "we don't want to put ideas into their heads" . People, the ideas are already there, just teach your children how to protect themselves. Better safe than sorry.

well they should learn about their bodies even if they are planning on waiting for marriage to have sex...Even sex education in schools provides little information on Endometriosis, or cervical lumps,, caring for you self properly during your periods...hormonal imbalances and how to help regulate your body naturally.
And also about having you and your future husband tested for std's because in this day and age their husbands will be of an entire generation born with AIDS, and HIV, and Hep C and so on.

Also teach our young women the signs of infidelity...because many "husbands" infect their wives every day...(and vice verse but you get my point)

Girlfriend, I hear you! I don't care if I'm offending my own gender, But GIRLS, YOU ARE STUPID! Well, some of you are. I mean, it's one thing if your're raped, but then when you willingly give you body up when you under-aged and should be worried about other things other than sex and pregnancy and whatever?? Come on! Why is having sex so damn important? Why the frick can't it wait??? Can't you do anything else in your spare time??? Why worry about getting pregnant when you can worry about your grades and your future??

Please please please think about your actions....Ugh...

I feel better too now, thankyou.
