All mammals, with a few exceptions, have a belly button. You usually cannot see them if the animal has hair on its abdomen. My Boston Terrier has a very visible belly button because she has very little hair on her belly. Its more of a round, pink scar than a innie or outie like a human's belly button.
Marsupials do not have belly buttons. Mammals like the duck bill platypus that lay eggs also do not have belly buttons.

Of course they had belly buttons...just like fruit and people they grow attached to the stalk!
Have you ever had a cat or dog that had babies?...their tiny little umbilical cords are chewed through by the mom and they dry up and fall off on their own.

They do. My dog has a belly button. Probably you mostly can't see them because of the hair.
