I would say tath a federal agent has more authority. I say that not only because I believe it because that is how movies potray the situation to society. Think about movies when there a serious situtaion and the police cant control it they send in federal agents so that must mean that they are of higher authority. right? On the other hand higher power is not the issue when you are breaking the law. So if I were a cop and i had to pull over an agent then he/she was oviously doing something wrong so i would as aI believe any other officer would give them a ticket.

A federal agent has more authority, but yes a cop can pull over anybody but I bet you after he finds out that he's a fed, the cop won't write the ticket

Depends on the crime a Federal Agent can't just come in and take over a Local case. They are on two different levels of law enforcement. There are times Federal Agents are only there to help Local Law Enforcement.

If the Fed is speeding, the Cop can give him a ticket. Supposedly (although I don't believe it), in America no one is above the law.

If the fed is given a ticket (let's say for speeding) and he is on the job, than the cop cannot give him a ticket because he is working as law enforcement. If the fed is not working then the cop can give him a ticket!

Yes, but the Federal agent has more authority than a policeman. Anyone including your Governor can get a ticket.

Sure he can. But will he? Supposedly, no one is above the law. But in real life, the cop would probably find out the violator is a fed and give him a break.

Law enforcement officials have jursidiction in a specific geographic area (a township, city, county, state, country, etc.) and might also be limited by the nature of the crime (traffic violations, drug-related crimes, etc.). So who has "more" authority depends on the circumstances.
