I absolutely hate 'Truth' ads for non-smoking. Smoking a cigarette is a choice that everyone has. *Newsflash* ******* at Truth, we KNOW CIGARETTES are addictive and we still smoke them, lay off you mongoloids. I hate every single theme of every one of their commercials. They try to be 'hip' and 'generation-x' oriented to appeal to kids to deter them from smoking. HOW ABOUT THE PARENTS DO MORE ABOUT IT than these shmucks. F all of them, and everyone who thinks that they are cool.

I chose to be a smoker with full knowledge that it was bad for me. Why? I have no idea. It seemed like the thing to do at the time - I was driving home from New York when I was 21 and they actually helped me stay awake.
The ads are not only a waste of time and effort, but they are a waste of money as well. Think about how much money goes into just one of those commericals, not to mention all the print adds, bumper stickers, etc. That money could be spent on something far more valuable like books for libraries in schools, or to help raise teacher's salaries, or food for the homeless, etc.
And what's more is - do they honestly think that those commericals are going to inspire someone to quit smoking? Do they actually think they will detour people from smoking? NO! People are gonna do what they are gonna do.
Silliness, absolutely. There are more important things to worry about.

Oh, MAN!! I hate those commercials. I always change the channel, immediately, if possible. Like people don't already know that smoking is bad for a person's health. It's right there in black and white on the side of a pack of cigarettes. Also, you would have to live under a rock to not know the consequences of smoking...the news is everywhere for God's sake.
People are going to do what they choose to do, regardless of ads, information, word-of-mouth, etc. Smoking is a choice and anyone who lights up, already knows all that crap they spew in those "Truth" ads. I would tell the "Truth" ad people to go blow smoke up their own asses.

No, I think that the commercials actually do what they are supposed to they tell the TRUTH of what cigarettes really do, those pictures and stuff dont show up on a pack of cigarettes.Oh but do you wanna know what does piss me off stupid people like you, so hey go F yourself as well idiot...

They are annoying. You are way too angry. Smoke if you wish. What bothers me is that this is all part of Big Brother is watching. They watch what we do,(smoke), what we eat, how we dress and now even who we call!! I no longer smoke . Decided it was not a good thing, however every one is able to make their own decisions. It's Orville's 1984. They seem to believe we are all children and treat us as such. We are losing our freedoms one by one and like sheep we just go along with it. Thought we Americans were an independent people

i do not think that there is one person out there (who is old enough to understand the concept of smoking) who does not know that smoking is bad for you, so why waste tv time for stupid pointless comercials telling us things we already know. if anything, there should be comercials telling us not to fall to peer pressure, because i am sure that that is what causes most people to smoke: friends wanting friends to join them for a smoke; smoking ist the "cool" thing to do etc. etc. i mean, if we stop the pressuring, i am sure there will be less smokers which will give the Truth people less reason to run those stupid adds.

YES,b/c it`s the truth and it hurts and no b/c I am an mother and I feel the truth needs to be there b/c Iam an mother who smokes I don`t want to be an hypocrite to my kid and tell her not to do so and me be doing so.
