If I'm not mistaken you are 4 1/2 feet tall. You are just the right size because my eight year old daughter is 49 inches tall and she's 60 lbs and she's a STICK!!

Oh honey, you don't sound over weight to me. Four foot four and 75 pounds is an amazingly good weight. I'm 5 foot 5 and i weight 130 so you're fine. Don't let people tell you different..
As for exercising, just swim, run, even walk regularly and eat healthy and you'll be ok.

The body mass index (BMI) or Quetelet Index is a statistical measure of the weight of a person scaled according to height. It is calculated by taking the weight of the individual in kilograms and dividing by the square of the height in metres:
BMI=weight(in kg) divided by height squared (in metres squared)
or (a version adapted for Imperial units):
BMI=wight(in lb) divided by height squared (in inches squared)
The following are common definitions of BMI categories:
Starvation: less than 15 (<15)
Anorexic: less than 17.5 (<17.5)
Underweight: less than 18.5 (<18.5)
Ideal: greater than or equal to 18.5 but less than 25 (â¥18.5 but <25)
Overweight: greater than or equal to 25 but less than 30 (â¥25 but <30)
Obese: greater than or equal to 30 but less than 40 (â¥30 but <40)
Morbidly Obese: greater than or equal to 40
Use this method to figure out in which category you belong.
You must understand that if two people have the same BMI, it does not necessarily mean that they are both fat or both thin. There are further factors to be considered, such as how much of your body mass is fat, how much of it is muscle, ethnicity, age , bone structure etc.
Also, I wouldn't worry too much about body weight if you are young since your body is not going to be the same in a few years from now. As long as you eat healthily and exercise you are doing all the right things.
