It wasnt much worse than getting the earlobes done, although it did take longer to heal. I suppose because of where it is in relatiosnhip to clothes rubbing on it and what not, just make sure if you get it done you take care of the area, with a good cleanser.

With all piercings there will be a brief moment of pain. They do take a few weeks to heal and meticulous care is needed to insure that there will not be an infection. It is different from an ear piercing because the needle is hollow and they must pierce with a needle and not the ring itself. Hope this helps.

I got mine pierced not once but twice. No I'm not a sucker for pain, but I lost the bottom half and a hole closed up on me. The 1st time it stung for 3 days, kinda like a bee sting and my clothes kept rubbing against it! IRRITATING! When I got it re-done the 2nd time, it wasn't so bad. The lady that did it got it in the exact hole as the 1st time. I'm loving it and I've had it about 8-10 years.

It felt like a pinch. I took mines about a week or so heal, and felt tender for a couple of weeks after I got it pierced. i cleaned it twice if not more daily with Bactine, and used anti-bacterial soap to clean it with. i followed the directions the piercer gave very closely.

It hurt for a couple seconds but no longer than that. whoever told you it hurt just about as much as your ears was right. as long as you take care of it, it will heal w/in 6wks.

it only when you are moving around, like when you are sleeping. everytime you move, put a pillow on the side you are switching, it help dull the pain.
