An impeachment is a major step and is defined within the Constitution in Article II, Section 4. “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
The Founders believed that to initiate and carry through with such a process was extremely serious. As such, any who assert charges of impeachment owe the memory of the Founders the effort to actually have evidence that would hold up during the impeachment process.
Individuals may not like President Bush, they may disagree with his actions and policies, they may even hate him, but that doesn’t mean that they should spout unfounded charges, rumors, speculation, political spin and lies as if they justified impeachment.

Who's they? The idiots who are calling for impeachment? They couldn't even start to get that organized. Blaming Bush and complaining is the extent of their political involvement.
Organizing an impeachment would require some thought and work, that's the last thing they want to do...
Talking about it for six years with NO Action, very Progressive.

There is no reason to impeach Bush, so why would "they" do it? Only two Presidents have been impeached before, Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. There were actual reasons behind their impeachment. Impeaching Bush would only make liberals happy until they realize that Cheney would then be President.

Some people think that Bush should not be impeached. I just don't get some people. (wooleybooley, Randy etc)
Clinton has some fun with the secretary. Impeached
Nixon lies. Forcibly resigned.
Bush starts an aggressive and illegal war, breaks all international law regarding hostile military activities, maintains a completely illegal prison.
Praised.
Go figure.

Do you really believe that a Republican House and senate and Supreme Coyurt and Executive branch and the RNC would actually let that happen? Learn from OHIO in the last election. No way will the neocons allow their prez'dent to be impeached, no matter what they have to stage this time around.

I voted for Bush, but I would support impeachment because of his selling out the American people when it comes to immigration, he his in collusion with Fox, to export his poverty problem over here, Fox wants Bush not to deport the illegal Mexicans that come here, and by the way they still catch and release he is following Fox's instructions. But I am still a Conservative Rep.

Impeach him for what? List what he has done to justify. Just because the crying Democrats can't get thier way, your asking a question that has no merit.
Thank him for not allowing another 9/11. That happened because Billy (I like cigars) Clinton pulled out of Somalia because he didn't want to offend Africa. So they figured the USA was a pansy, planned 9/11.

Some people are SO brainwashed! After they lose most of their freedoms, MAYBE they will awaken out of their BUSH loving slumber! UGG!

It wouldn't do any good, they are plenty of corrupt Neocons in line for succession.
In the immortal words of president Lincoln
"This government is of the people, by the people and for the people and if the people shall grow weary of this government, they may use their constitutional right to amend it or exercise their revolutionary right to overthrow it."
It takes a leader with very healthy respect for the people to remind the people that they have a right to overthrow their own government if it becomes abusive.
Now that's American.
