light yellow or light blue... either of those combined with white... for example, 2 walls painted light yellow/blue and 2 painted white, or 3 yellow or blue ones and 1 white one... your choice

my room was mint green when I was younger. I love that color...it makes me smile. My living room is a pale yellow now. It's a happy color too. I heard blue is not good (i think the thing I read said it makes people sad). And, I heard red makes us hungry.

depends on the room, how big, how much light, etc. If that is not a problem, try maroon or else a light olive green with ivory trim.

Try canary/butter yellow. Soft colors always bring light to any room.

I would say...brown, with touches of gold in things like lamps, picture frames. With the brown maybe dark blue or red.

do it a subtle color, like a soft blue, pink, or purple; don't make it stand out a whole lot, because you're putting other things in your room, right?
