Go shopping together, and pick out one then the store can put it on hold until he's ready to buy it on his own. That's what I did and it was fun shopping together for it. It's very common.

Too much Me my and I in your question. Always thought engagement ring meant you were getting engaged to another person. Maybe they might have an idea or a suggestion in regards to the ring as they will probably be paying for it for YOU.
Less You more Us is something you need to think about in regards to the ring and everything else that is going to be happening as a result of the outcome that usually happens when one is engaged.

whats up, so what if the hoop isn't the final. no person ought to care what curiously like. you need to be engaged good now with a no longer so especially ring or you need to be sitting on my own questioning approximately whilst or in case you 2 rather love one yet another sufficient to get engaged. Who rather cares if the guy you like is in a position to locate the money for a Tiffany ring or no longer. inform you the certainty, i does not. a hoop is a hoop, yet a hoop from love is passionate and romantic. This guy has the middle to truly ask you to marry him adventure however he might no longer verify in case you like him sufficient to accomplish that. i'm no longer attempting to be recommend in case you think of that's what it rather is, i'm being honest and that i in my view do wish issues artwork out for you 2. **** success to you and don't hassle what people say. merely be happy which you're together. think of roughly what is going by way of each and each of your minds and what concerns maximum.

My fiance told me to pick out my own ring, that way he knew it was something I really liked...Also he is the big spender among us so it wasn't a financial hardship since I am the one that's the tightwad! I picked out a beautiful ring that sparkles from across the room at a reasonable price...

You shouldn't be worried about being stuck with an "ugly" ring, it's not about that, if the ring is all your after good luck with marriage.

It's totally OK but if you don't feel comfortable doing that just leave the catalog with circled styles somewhere he can see it so he gets the idea what you like just don't go crazy on his wallet. Good Luck

That's the ring I designed for my fiance. She gave me the basic criteria (blue sapphire with diamond) and I did all the 'foot work'.
