I think weight does have something to do with it depending on your weight and health, I am 31 now and am overweight, I also have type 2 Diabetes. Since I could remember I've had an irregular period. I thought I'd never have kids. I"ve had diabetes for about 6 yrs now. My doctor told me to loose weight and get my diabetes under control before I even think of having children. Well I took my medicine an ate well. The Glucophage ( to keep sugar in control)pills that I was taking increased my ovulation and I got prego back on Oct '04, I had a lil boy. Believe me after yrs of trying, I couldn't believe it. I finally got my baby. Now I have a lil girl that was born, Nov'05, Dont worry it'll happen for you, I was hopeless, but God finally gave me my babies. I love them so much. I hope he blesses you too. I understand your feelings.

I'm overweight & have PCOS. I'm seeing a infertility doctor who is helping me. So far I have been able to get pregnant twice, just not carry past 7 weeks.....but we are still trying. It will happen. If you want a child that bad, go see a infertility doctor. They will normally see new patients after they have been trying for 2 or more years.

If you are like my, my blood sugar was really high, and my periods stopped for months. Diabetic II.
Anyway, the ob/gyn told me that my chances would be greater if I lost weight. I have started taking my Glucophage every night. I hate medicine so that is enough for me. My periods have been regular. IM me so we can talk.

if you have been trying for 2 years you may need to go and see a doctor. I had no problem getting pregnant, and I was overwieght. it had nothing to do with it. good luck

stop trying. just let it happen. eat foods rich in folic acid and other healthy stuff to get your body ready for it. stop stressin'. that might be the reason you can't conceive. too much stress.
