well the thing is im asian and the guy who i love is african. Problem is people wanting to split us up . Basically they are really annnnoying and always interferin and they just dont want us to be together

So! Who cares what they think. Baby, stand up for yourself. If you worked hard and bought you a house and one day someone came and just took it from you because they said that the house was not the right house for you. What would you do? You would fight to get your house back. Same as in your relationship. Nobody can't take nothing away unless you let them, especially on them grounds. Love is blind. Dismiss what they say.

Get over it and deal with it. If you want to be with someone "different" than you there will be consequences. That goes for anyone, be it race, religion, appearance, anything. There will always be people who don't approve. You can't let them rule your life, if you do, you'll wind up being miserable. Just cut those people out of your life and make sure that you two are happy.

Why should you live your lives to please other people, they cant tell you who you should love or be with. You have to be really strong on this one, and supportive of each other. Together you can win the battle, but if you part you have lost the war.. Be happy and stay together for as long as you are happy and in love. Good luck to both of you.

If they have a problem with you being together then you should stay away from those people. They obviously have no sense and don't really sound like they care that much about you if they don't want you to be happy.

I'm assuming that these people are yours and his family and friends.
Take some time to talk to them and make them understand that the other's race.
You could:
- organise a bowling session for yourself, your boyfriend and his friends.
- organise a night out in a pub for yourself, your boyfriend and your friends.
- have a few gatherings where he invites a few of his friends and you invite a few of yours.
- meet up with his parents and mention his friends' names and how much fun you had together. Be understanding and really get to know their thoughts.
- get your boyfriend to meet your parents and do the same as above.
With time, the unknown will become the familiar and race will not matter anymore.

just get other friends, should this difference matter?
also if you are splitting up because of people say you might not be in love then as this would not be enough to cause a break up

All you can do is trust yourself in making the right decision. If need be, write a list of all the good and bad points and work out how you feel by that. It may feel as if they are interfering, but its only cos they care. The question you need to ask yourself is, What makes you happy?

DONT LISTEN TO WHAT PEOPLE SAY if youre in love youre in love and they are going to have to deal with it , they dont pay youre bills there no type emotional or any other type of support to you so make they mad let them know every opportunity you get that you love each other ( your two races give beautiful babies good luck)

thats awful...if you guys love each other then thats all that matters...but i know that people arent going to change easily and you might have to deal with them being annoying for a while...but i also think if your love is strong enough then the two of you can get through anything

why won't they leave you guys alone? are they jealous? is there something they know about the guy you like that they feel would hurt you? ask them that. if they dont have a reasonable answer and they still dont leave you alone, just be like 'screw you buddy'. its your life, you should be able to do whatever you want to with it. especially when it comes to the people you date.
