I am wondering where you are from. I know I will not be surprised if I knew. It depends on which country your cousin went to since there are a lot of different countries in Africa with their own culture and lifestyle.

a civilised population out there only being constrained by poverty and disease. otherwise, Africa is like the ret of the continents . it only needs the EU and US to open up their markets for her to move a step forward. Africa needs lasting solutions to problems not mo and mo loans from the west.

Your question should have been broken into 2 parts.
Africa is great depending on where you go. It's the 2nd largest continent and there are different parts. But anywhere you go, you're sure to be culture shocked.

It is many things and it is good for you to learn for yourself. Nobody can speak about it and claim their opinion to be better
