Why or why not?

Speaking as someone who was affected that horrible day (brother was a firefighter who died during rescue) I am glad that they are. I can't wait till the one with Nick Cage comes out. I miss my brother dearly but if we continue to dwell in what happened we can never move forward in our lives.

no, it's been 5 years, if this isn't long enough it will never be long enough, i think it's good that we remember what happened

The one about Flight 93 already came out and the one with Nicolas Cage about the WTC comes out later this summer.

Assuming that you are in the US.

5 years I guess, is long enough to not be emotional for some people. I probably won't be able to watch these movies in my entire lifetime.

In my opinion, NO movies should have been allowed to be made of that awful day. I couldn't believe when I saw the commercial for the preview!! It affected so many people negatively. Just thinking about that day brings me to tears and makes my stomach turn. I WILL NOT go see that movie. My husband on the other hand is interested in the movie and feels it's ok that they have made a movie about it already. It's one movie we won't be seeing together :)

Not the documentary ones. We as United States citizens need to know what really happened. However, I don't think they should ever make a movie that portrays it in a non-serious light, or to just capitalize off of it. Howver, our industry has been doing that since 2001. For instance, Avon made a lot of their "Support our Troops pins"

Well, you can't wait too long because guess what? August is the release date of The World Trade Center movie. I just can't understand why we can't move on though.

YES! Do you really think people who survived the Titanic would have enjoyed seeing Jack and Rose floating on a door freezing? No! It would bring back traumatic memories.

They shouldn't even be making movies about 9/11. Really, they disguise the movies as "tributes" or something, when everyone knows that hollywood doesn't care about that, all they care about is MONEY!!!!
