The son of a friend died and I believe he is still here trying to communicate with us and to protect us. I believe once he knows we are ok he can pass over and rest. I believe he is sending me signs.

You are deluding yourself. He has already 'passed over'. If his soul has gone to heaven, or to the light, or to be with God, would'nt he have better things to do? Would'nt he rather be there than down here moving your furniture or knocking pictures over, or opening and shutting doors? And if he is there, he already knows you are ok; he cannot communicate with you, it is forbidden. If something is leaving you 'signs', I assure you it is nothing good, and is most likely of Lucifer. God Himself has commanded us: "Speak not to the dead". Let him who has ears, hear. Do not invite evil into your house. One person encouraged you to get together and try speak to him. That is a seance, a 'calling up' of spirits. It is forbidden.. Exercise good judgement. Do not allow yourself to be misled.

I believe that they do communicate in their own ways. My Mom passed away 3 yrs ago, and I know that there are time that I can feel her in a room with me. As long as you love and remember them they stay with you... Just my thoughts on it!

People will believe all sorts of things to comfort themselves, it doesn't make them real; but if they help people, more power to them.

We all create stories or spin our perceptions to make ourselves feel safe, excited, worthwhile, etc. Stories are a major part of the human condition, many of them are simply the way we choose to view this life, so long as they don't harm anyone else, believe what you want.

Try to figure out what he's trying to say so he can move on.
Maybe you should all get together and try at the same time.
