Is that the daily lifestyle of Americans...speacially 1 thing in paricular...do some dads really stay home with the kids when the moms work

Yes. Some men do stay at home and look after the children. We see more of that happening becuase women are now working and sometimes more sucessful than their male counterparts.

Yep! They do. It's not quite as common as stay-at-home-moms, but it does happen. As unrealistic as that show can be, the whole plot with Lynette and Tom (assuming that's what you're referring to) is actually pretty realistic in American culture... Dad stays home, and Mom is very successful. But for most families both parents usually work. Not always, but most of the time it seems.

We don't have kids, but my husband stays home and takes care of the house, laundry, dishes, ect. He's unusual, but all of my working female friends are really jealous.

no that's not the normal lifestyle but yes some dads do stay at home.

yea, actually they do. i live in canada, it's not super common. but i've seen it. but i think it's most common now a days that both parents work
