We're going to be heading down from Milwaukee through Illinois this evening. We need to ultimately hook up with I-80 E and then I-76E.
Mapquest has us apparently going through downtown on the Dan Ryan expressway.
Are we better off doing that, or taking the 294 bypass? Or whatever number that is.....

AVOID DOWNTOWN DAN RYAN!
The road construction is awful!
stick with 294 south indiana to hwy 80 east.

Stay off the Dan Ryan. The traffic is unreal.

yeah, you can take 294 all the way around. toll booths will slow you do own but yeah it works.
