This is the smartest thing Vince Mc Mahon has done since re-launching ECW. Things were starting to get stale, and ratings were sliding...now, the premiere of ECW was the most watched program that day, and the last Raw (with DX) was the highest rated show on cable, period, that week.
With some ill-timed injuries and some stale storylines, both Raw and Smackdown had gotten rather predictable and boring. With some promising newer talent (i.e. Lashley, Carlito, Masters, Umaga, Boogeyman, etc., plus more coming from the WWE minor league promotions), the return of some familiar faces (Batista, and possibly Brock Lesnar later), and an apparent retro move to the old "Attitude" era (DX), coupled with the "new" ECW, things should become a lot more interesting.

yeah. things were getting so boaring that you'll know what will happen. this will and has boost the ratings.
i hope dx last a long time and bring back the old attitude era.
it will be more exciting.

Yeah I was sick and tired of HBK and the Mcmahons crap is was kinda getting old and now to old friends reunite while there both in trouble with the chairman.

Definitely! RAW needed a kick - was getting too "old stuff."
