You should never keep looking unless you live in Alaska or a remote area, there a thousands thousands upon thousand of women in your area you've just not come into contact with. Long distance relationship just don't work.

Well...as someone whos been there...it isn't worth it. What would be wrapped up within a month, takes about a year to come to the same conclusion. Therefore a waste of time. I think that you need have a little patience and keep your eyes open. There's nothing wrong with correspondence with this girl, but just don't shut off any new prospects. Telling a girl that you're in a long distance relationship, you might as well say you have an imaginary friend. It's silly to even mention it. The moral is, be young and keep your options open. You're not married, therefore, you don't have to let your LDR friend know everything, neither do you have to let anyone else know who your LDR friend is. Unless you plan to get a job and move where this person is, or she do the same for you, don't take it seriously, and take it more as an amusement.

Long distance relationships are difficult but if you both are willing to connect i say go for it. Love knows no distance. I myself am in a long distance relationship and I wouldnt trade it for anything. It can get lonely at times but so can a close relationship phone and im keep us together and it makes the times we see eachother so much more wonderfull.

Besides the guys here tend to have their head stuck up their butt. lol happends to us all i guess

I lived more than 500 miles from someone I loved, and I moved closer. It worked!

I survived a long distance relationship however I would not suggest it. There will be times of lonliness and you will do anything to see her. Its all false. When you are together all the time, You may not like the person you are with!

How long is she gone for? Did she ever live near you? How often do you see each other?

My fiance and I live in LA, but she is moving to Sanfrancisco in August, we will stay together because we are going to make it work. Oh and we are getting married. She's going for school so she will be coming back.

It's important to ask why her. If you love her, then distance means nothing.

They work if you make them work for you. Phone, Internet, and occasional visits. If it's meant to happen it will.
