Michael Graves is an architect that started designing everyday things for an Italian company called Alessi. The prices of those items are incredibly high. Target approached him and asked him to come up with his designs, just at more affordable prices. He has at Target a really cool teapot, some cool clocks and other household decorative things. I guess I'd look around her place and then look for the perfect item- like a picture frame. Not too personal and she can put a fun or special picture in it. Good luck with the possibility of a relationship with her.

Definitely not cleaning or cooking supplies! By her something somewhat practical, but just plain nice to keep around. Better yet if you decide to get her something practical, surprise her with it. Like Michael graves inspired cookware and make her dinner with it. Don't forget to clean the dishes:)
