Honey, whoever told you life is fair? Sue them!!
Seriously ... the way to deal with a bully is to stand up to them. I understand though that often that just isn't possible, I never was able to.
When you get on the bus, sit by someone else so that there is no room to sit next to you.
Do whatever you need to to take care of yourself.
How good of a "friend" is this? Maybe you should make some new friends?

I don't see a problem with it. If the person shares a room with someone you dislike what does that matter if you two hang out or sit on the bus together? It's not like this person is forcing you to be friends with the person you don't like.

Look at it this way, Fair Flicky - maybe your friend has little choice of who he/she shares a room with (because of little money) BUT your friend DOES have lots of choices with whom to sit on the bus and HAS THE GOOD TASTE TO CHOOSE YOU!!!
