Well sure...Gay Pride, equal rights and all that stuff. Why would you be afraid of flaunting your sexual preference. It's not wrong, it's normal & natural. Dogs are gay so why can't people be. Do you think it's wrong? The gays on this Q&A say it's great.
That's why I never understood what the big deal about coming out of the closet was all about...why would you be afraid of something that is so natural and normal. Are you ashamed? Do you think it's wrong? Just ask anyone ...It's natural...if your Dad won't except you he's a bigot

I think (like someone else here said) u should visit www.pflag.com. As for your dad, wow? If you have any gay/lesbian friends try asking them to come with you when u tell him, if for nothing else support.

Before you talk to your dad, get some advise from a local GLBT support group or from a local chapter of PFLAG. It really can help to talk to someone in person who's been in your shoes - and you'll have a network of people that will support you no matter how your father reacts.
