people who hate goths can burn in hell.....

I don't think there is anything wrong with being goth... it is just a way of expressing yourself. I think people are kind of intimadated because they think goths look scary. I really had to get to know one to get over that!! I think they are just regular people who have their own thoughts and opions!

Also, people today in this world have a hard time being different. They think you have to have a certain look to be "cool" or in other words... to be like EVERYONE ELSE! They think different is bad.

On the other hand, I think people who are theirselves and who they want to be are the coolest. Except those people who are total jerks and don't give a rats about people's feelings.

Im not goth, just because that is who I am... But if that's what you want to be.... ROCK ON!

People generally don't hate goths, they just do what they assume goths would want them to do: leave them alone. The Gothic lifestyle is widely seen as a way to walk the path less travelled by dressing and acting in a socially unusual way, so people are more apt to just let them be the way they want, but not make contact.

The only real problem people might have have with goths is confusing them with emo people. "EMO" is behaving somewhat like a goth, but basically screaming "hey, look at me! I'm goth!" it is not a way of blazing a different path, it is an annoying way to garner attention and it happens to piss me off immensely.

:)

I personally don't hate goths. I just think others hate what they don't understand. Most of the time it is easier for people to hate than to open their minds up to something different and expressive. I had a couple "goth" friends when I was in high school and they were the same as me. Just had a different type of style. ^.^

I don't think people hate goths, I think it's the other way around. Any goth I've ever met gives me a look like there going to eat me for dinner. I wish they only knew how much I really liked them.

Because people think they know what Goths are about and generally they don´t. Most goths i grew up and were friends with, being goth myself, we all enjoyed life and loved ourselves. For us it was a way to express our creativity, in our way of dress. And lets be honest the music is the best!

I'm goth. And the negativity I just saw from other answers is crap. Those people are simply naive. Being goth isn't a fashion statement, it's a way of life.

I don't hate them , in fact I'm sleeping with someone who is part goth. Also, yes, they are some of the nicest people around, next to the gays. (No offense to the homosexual community)

hell no! i find them hot. im 27 and ive been a goth up until i was 18, then it was socially unacceptable and i got so sick of hearing it. So now, i look like barbie. But if everyone would leave me alone, id be a goth. i was born to be! my husband is preppy, but when i see a goth guy, i get strong urges!

People today are so focused on what people look like on the outside, they don't and won't take the time to get to know the real person. I think they are frightened by the way "goths" dress. Like they think you are possessed or something. Its retarted!

My hat goes off to you guys b/c you aren't afraid to express who you are the way you want to!

i don't hate goth's, there is no reason to from what my experience has been with them. people are always afraid of things they don't understand.it would be like grouping all bikers into one group, not all act the same.and you really can't say anyone is normal, since "normal" is an opinion by ones self and your "normal" may not be my "normal".does that make any sense?lol. sorry too many thoughts running at once.
