He was a great President, no war, great economy, no huge deficit and internationally popular.
Sure, I liked him. As for his private life, I'd rather have a President who screws around in private, than one who is screwing up the whole country.
Those who are biased against Clinton should really stop and look at the peril and disaster Bush and his greedy cohorts have created. Generations to come will pay for the war that has so blessed huge corporations. Our country is globally distrusted and despised , and the religious zealots are having a run that would make Nero appear sane.

Did I like Clinton? YES! I Love the man!

A vehement yes to both...I think he was one of the best leaders in the world. He has charm, charisma and always speaks with a smile. He is a powerful speaker, who makes people stand still and listen. He is a kind man and this kindness filtered down through the ranks. He is a visionary with a peaceful vision of the world and the role that the U.S. would play in bringing about world peace. He makes an effort to understand other cultures, and on his foreign visits, he is just so very nice that everyone looks at him with admiration and awe. He had to step in when 9/11 took place. He placated us, made us feel that everything is going to be OK. All president Bush did was rant and rave about revenge.

Call me crazy, but my belief is that the Republicans planted that intern to do a smear campaign on Clinton, knowing that his Achilles heel would be a woman...Lol he is a lover not a fighter...lol. Anyway, she was like Delila (from Samson and Delila). He was just so powerful in his popularity, they had to do something to ruin his reputation, so that the democrats would not win another term. I mean think about it...Who would save an unwashed, dirty dress to show as evidence? I wonder how much she was paid to pull that scam.

If Clinton goes up for the presidency again, I know he will win hands down, even though this is not allowed. We need more leaders like him in the world today.

People love this guy and I just don't get it.
His term as president will be characterized by an affair with an intern and the subsequent impeachment trial. Nothing Else.
If I got caught having sex with an intern at my job I would be fired.
He's married for heaven's sake! He cheated on his wife with a fat, ugly clerk! What was he thinking?
Then he had the audacity to lie about it!
People say, "Nobody died when Clinton Lied."
Well, look at the recent news that says over 500 weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq three days ago.
Holy Cow!
The Bush Administration was telling the truth!
Clinton is a jerk.
Oh yeah, one more thing.
Clinton did nothing when Al Qiada bombed the World Trade Center in 1993.
Nothing.
Nothing at all.
Al Qiada came back to finish the job in September of 2001.
Maybe if he did something or anything about the bombing in 1993, we wouldn't have any wars going on right now.

COMMENT ADDED:
Charle Tuna (above) would love to believe that what he says is the truth, but it isn't. He's just another liberal begging for ten points like scraps of food from the table. The weapons found were older, but he thinks that means that they aren't important. We have Nuclear Missile silos all over the country that are thirty or forty years old, but they are still as dangerous as they were the day they were built.
Charlie, do you think that because they were 15 years old, that made it OK for Saddam to keep them, even after he INVADED Kuwait and was sanctioned? They were Weapons of Mass Destruction any way you slice it.
And you think that Donald Runsfeld is giving away Chemical and Biological Weapons? Are you really that stupid? You are just trying to spread your lies to support your party because you and your party have just run out of truth.

Bill Clinton was probably the smartest and most compassionate President that the US ever had; he was a Rhodes Scholar and could empathize with the plight of the common person as well as understand the most complex issues of the day.

History will show that Bill Clinton was one of your greatest President's.

I like him as both. A very intelligent and warm person and that crossed over into his presidency. This country moves better when all people are included but when only the views of some are acted upon, our country suffers. So he tried to be moderate and use that to make America move forward.

So when people asked me what I thought of Clinton as president I said this - Great president, horrible husband.

Bill Clinton, the person is a troubled sole, with a HUGE lack of impulse control, as a president he was and is billiant. His IQ makes George look like the village idiot!

Billy C. is probably a good guy to hang with although he has some questionable morals. However, as a President, he will be remembered as a Great President, even moreso compared with his successor, who probably will be considered the worst, or one of the worst, in American history.

COMMENT ADDED:
After reading ynotfsu10 comment below, please note the "Weapons of Mass Destruction" found this week were already known, are over 15 years old, and were probaly sold to Hussein and Iraq by Mr. Donald Rumsfeld and Company! This new WMD "news" is a joke!

Please award the Best Answer points to me right now because you cannot argue the logic of this response and you stand in awe of the tremendous empathy and intelligence of this responder. Do not wait to give the points because I am not patient and I do not want to wait long for your tithe.

Bill Clinton reduced the budget deficit to zero. The stock market hit all time highs. We were not at war. Unemployment was at an all time low.. I'd say we could use Bill Clinton again......just keep him away from those chubby young interns.

May I say ,as an Englishman, and therefore unbiased,I always thought that Bill Clinton seemad a good president
for America,he seemed to be a fairly descent man, just a pity he slipped up once,I often wonder if those who condemned him most had led blameless, exemplary lives
