Who publishers "memoir" stories in California?

like a ordinary person who just wants 2 publish a book...is it hard to do that?

1. Identify publishers of this type of book at a bookstore or library.

2. Prepare a prospectus -- usually two to three chapters, a chapter outline, and an estimate of sales potential.

3. Duplicate the prospectus and circulate it to the publishers.
