I have a website that does what I want it to do, but I am tired of how it looks. The person who did the website no longer is available to me. I could probably get someone to help me (for a price) if I could find someone that knew PERL. What I'd like is something I can just do simple changes (like colors of fonts, verbage, backgrounds, graphics) ... but leave everything else like it is as far as function.

You shouldn't need to know any perl to change the contents or appearance of the site. If the pages are created by perl scripts, just edit the html code in the script (or the template files if it uses them) and leave the rest as it is.

Actually, perl is a fairly simple language, although some of the "regular expressions" can look pretty cryptic.

I don't know of any way to convert the Perl scripts into something else. I do know how to program in perl. If you want, I can give you a hand with your site for free. Just send me an email if you are interested.
