Hehehe...I think that should happen. You guys wouldn't be able to keep up with what "stay at home moms" have to do. I guarantee it.

What is your real issue here: that women are saying they are better at most things? Or that it is a woman's world now? Because neither is necessarily true. Nor is it true that they watch soaps and drink coffee all day. Here is something closer to the truth: Women are good at a lot of things; so are men. It is not a woman's world now; women still have glass ceilings as far as employment; they are 3 times as likely than men to be victims of violent crime. And as far as stay-at-home women: some are lazy, most are not. I don't want your job, and I appreciate men who work and support their families.

OOH you sound bitter this is definitely not a woman's world its controlled by old white men who are weirdos, How safe would you feel in a world where most serial killers choose female victims? How safe is it for a women to walk home alone at night? this isn't an equal society yet. i think some men are just as good at doing the tasks any mother does and visa versa, it really depends on the the character of the person not there gender.

Are you from here this planet?

News flash, it has already happened. A lot households have women women that contribute to the household financially. Some go so far as to pay all the bills while the men are stay at home dads. Heck some women work and do all the household chores. Isn't that something!!

Women are hard workers when it comes to routine jobs, they can easily handle house and jobs we men can't. Women are very patient and serious workers, men mostly just want to either work on a challenge or to do something only if they enjoy it. But then again women burn out fast in high stress jobs where men can handle job stress more efficiently...probably because we were either enjoying it or were taking it as a challenge. When it comes to role of emotions at job men are able to totally turn it off, women can't. Again women take child rearing easily where men will make it a super serious job and get tired and loose patience and interest very fast. Men, keep a real job. Women, can do both.

I agree with the first answer -- and also must say MOST women I know are working full time AND being full time mothers at the same time. Our job of being the primary caregiver to our children usually doesn't decrease with working outside the home. You guys can't handle it for the most part -- you're just not made that way! (although there are exceptions to this -- just as there are some mothers who are incompetent)

Stay at home mothers have one job and working mothers have two....regardless of whether the dad is staying home or not.

i am a man but u must have dead beat spouse or lover cause my wife is a nurse who after being on her feet taking care of patients all day still find time to come home take care of our son and any other chores around the house and she never makes one sound to disturb my sleep.

no i work also. i am a truck driver and my wife is a nurse but i know for a fact that stay at home moms who are truly dedicated stay at home moms work twice as hard as they are givev credit for. it is estimated that if u broke down everything a true dedicated stay at home mom does and was to pay her for her time she would be making approx. 150k per year and i am willing to bet you don't make that in 3 years. think about it.

I dunno... it's a good idea to let women do what they want, and you can organize something like a switch of jobs: the woman can do the work and the man could do the household chores. After the day is finished, say how your day was. If the woman says that it was bad, say in your own words, "I told you so." But never, ever, tell a woman "I told you so" right to their face. You don't want to see the results.

Yes. Because then more men would understand what it is like looking after a home, a family and a partner who does not understand what that is like.

Have you ever thought of sharing the work and the house work with your partner? Or is that too radical a concept for you?

One double standard we have in society;a woman at home is judged as OK. A stay at home dad is seen as a joke! Even by his spouse!
