When someone says "You're not making any cents," that means that they mean, "You're not making any sense," or like they don't really understand what you're trying to say, right?

I said this to my friend and he's like "huh?" So i got a little...well..i don't know..i guess unsure about what this means. I thought it means like "You don't make any sense," and i was right after all.

Correct! You make perfect sense.

But if you make perfect cents you'll be arrested by the government for forging currency.
