i would have to agree with you on that, rap isn't music and i don't give a **** who says it is, it's talking, i did that when i was 10 years old, and i thought i was cool, becasue i was even better then anyone on tv..then i had an epiphany, rap is for the simple minded, and progressive metal is what i wanna do with my life, well thought out riffs, multitextured..extreme lyrics..oh yeah.

I think there's an equal amount of dummies going into every profession. Not just music.
Dont be so close-minded. There are several good artists in each category of music, just because there are some who really arent worth much, doesnt mean the entire category is stupid.
