when rendering my outhouse ,can i not render lower than the dpc?? its just my dpc is 5 bricks high from the ground ,would this not look daft?? or have i got this wrong??

If you do the DPC is breached and you will end up with damp in your walls.

Theres nothing to stop you black tarring the bottom portion.

I know that I am ignorant, but I have a very good eye and can see things without drawings. BUT...I have no idea what you are talking about.."rendering?", dpc?? I am just finishing a huge remodel of my $1,000,000 + house, have done all the GC work, the drawings, etc. But, I have no idea what you are looking for. Clarify and perhaps I can help.

you can render all the way to the floor level it seems to me thatb you have a big step up to your door way, it does not matter but do not build higher than dpc or damp will come through
