I have posted this before, but I wanted to open it for more answers.
A woman that I have wrote about in the past apparently had a "thing" for my husband and was working ways towards trying to pull him away from me. When she seen this wasn't going to happen, she has started spreading malicious lies about him. These are known lies because they are provible. Also, we discovered that she has had 3 previous harassment charges brought against her. Do women that are after a married man truly go to these lengths to seek revenge on them?

Whoa, I don't feel like the crazy one anymore. She is a big NUT CASE! In reply to some of the feedback, she knew he was married. She knows me too. If you can look at some of my previous posts. We have a psycho on our hands and I have talked to the police and "she has not broken a law yet". Ya know we were nice to her and just trying to help someone. I don't get it. My mentality does not go that direction. Yes, I am digging up the past on her and finding out a lot of trash. Boiled rabbit? Believe me I have thought of that one.

Boiled rabbit and Fatal Attraction not withstanding, yes, many women do. This is a issue that specifically revolves around their own desperate need for attention, control, power and manipulation. All of it boils down to a severe issue with insecurity and low self esteem. Because of this they will go to any lengths to seek revenge against someone if that person rejected them. Since they couldn't get what they want, instead of walking away like an adult and accepting it, they are hurt. Because they are hurt they want someone else to feel as hurt as they are. In effect she is a child that is throwing a temper tantrum, although the problem is that she isn't a kid and she could, in fact, be dangerous. Clearly, she has a pattern with this - given the other harassment charges - but watch your back (both yours and your husband's) and file charges. You might want to get an order of protection, if you can.

As for the gossip she is creating, you both know the truth and shouldn't invest any energy into this, unless and only if the gossip is affecting his job. He should report this to personnel or the human resources department. If she works with him, he could file sexual harassment charges and she would be penalized.

She is seriously mentally ill - as ill as Glenn Close's character was in Fatal Attraction. This woman needs serious psychological and professional help, but until she actively assesses herself and her actions, she won't see this. All you can do is protect yourselves and carefully watch her actions.

She is one sick pup so be careful, please.

Well, this particular woman seems mentally unstable. I wouldn't generalize her action to all women, although there's a reason that "a woman scorned" is a saying...

But single women who are looking to bag married men usually suffer from very low self esteem and aren't confident enough to date single men. It may seem counterintuitive at first, but married men are easier targets because they are less inhibited and more likely to talk to women at work or socially (they know they're married, so what does it hurt to talk to someone).

The good part is that it doesn't sound like your husband did anything with this woman and you can both just ignore her and move on. She needs to get a life, but you don't have to be the one to tell her. She'll find someone else to harass eventually.

The answser is yes. The female gender is the most vicious, spiteful part of our species. They take out their vendications on men for the animosity they harbor towards other women. What is up with that concept. As if there were not enough problems in the world to solve this one takes the cake in the batch. One of the most unecessary, unfounded, unsupported actions there is and tops the list in damages to people and their lives.

well yea, I think maybe it is revenge, but then again some people only want what they can't have. Maybe it's a game to her that she really enjoys playing. Put a foot in her a$$. It probably gives her a thrill taking someone away from someone. It was more than likely done to her and now she thinks it's her turn. Either way I would have to set her a$$ straight.

Some women seem to find a thrill in getting married men and trying to get them to break up with the woman they are currently married to. Start making notes about what she is doing and record any calls she makes to your home. Then get yourself an attorney and find out what can be done legally.

Well she is out to get either your, or your husbands attention and it sounds to me as if she has succeded because she has your complete attention! I say stop feeding the monster and let it go..let her spread her lies....My question is, if you are secure in your marriage why would you spend so much time dealing with such a immature menial little girl? Why do you care if she spreads lies that are very easily verifiable lies? WHY CARE? lol Seriously, just cross her off your list of worries and get on with your life with your husband...

yes sometimes they do, this woman is obviously disturbed and her perceptions of reality and relationships are severely distorted. especially since she has 3 previous complaints...can you find out what they were about? was it the same situation? i'd also talk to a professional (first the police and second a mental health professional), if the situation is ongoing, to find out if this woman could be dangerous. if your husband truly didn't 'lead her on' in anyway then she very well could be. be careful and try to get more info on her history. good luck.

No not all single women are like that! To tell you the truth I wouldn't want a man that is happily married (to someone else!)
Doing stupid **** like that means that you don't have any respect for any one!
( Especially Your Self)!! I wouldn't try and dig up her past, if she keeps doing this **** to you guys, you should call the police, and charge her with Harassment!

When you are a crazed stalker no telling when can happen in any situation. Have you seen the movie with Michael Douglas? He was married and a crazed woman was stalking him. Be careful. Get a restraining order. Good luck hun
