By celebrity, I assume anyone regularly in the news or public eye is eligible. I haven't met a lot of music celebrities (at least not very well known ones), but I've had the opportunity to work with FL governor Jeb Bush on several occasions. I was able to meet his brother, the President, as well. This was during the '04 campaign when he came to the Florida panhandle to speak. I've met Colonal Oliver North from the Iran-Contra affair, one of the greatest men to ever work under the greatest president, Ronald Reagan. Also, I was able to speak with Katherine Harris on several occassions when she was the FL secretary of state shortly after she certified the election results for the State of FL in the 2000 presidential election fiasco.

I've meet Carlos Santana. I was 9 I think, ran into him I think in LA. I was young but I knew even then what he'd done. I'm going to see him in concert in September too.
My father has also met Matt "Guitar" Murphy, the guitarist from the Blues Brothers band and movie. He was playing at a bar in Hartford CT where my dad and his buddies were hanging out and between sets he would come around and chat with people. But then that night there was knock at my dad's friend's apartment door. Happened to be Matt again, somehow he got the adress. He came in for something like half an hour and before he went my dad said "You know what'd be cool? If you autographed the wall." So he autographed the wall. As far as my dad knows it's still there to this day in that apartment.
I also saw Bill Gates on a flight from Dallas to Hartford. He was sitting in the 1st class section and my mom recognized him. As she passed by she said "hi" and he looked up from the paper and replied "hi" back. Pretty cool.

Yes Marla Gibbs (The Jefferson's Maid Flo) Anyway, I saw her at the comedy store on Sunset Blvd. about 5 years ago. She is as nice as she is pretty. She took pictures with us and ask where we were from. I enjoyed it. She was really beautiful. Wish I could've said Angelina Jolie, but unfortunately I can't. I would love to tell her how good of an Actress she is, and ask her about how I could help the disadvantage children too. Although I'm not wealthy, what else could I do? Anyway, maybe one day.

Yes, not sure of his name but the lead singer of Sum 41.
Met him before their band took off in Hamilton, ON, Canada. In a real shitty place, they opened for Gob and now they are bigger then Gob.
My girlfriend and I were talking to him the whole night!
I also met Bono, from U2. He was at new Casino Niagara in the bar that's there and they always have live music playing and it was weird at 1st b/c it looked like the singer was really nervous for some reason and at the end of the song he mentioned that Bono was in the crowd and he came up and sang a song and then we ended up talking to him later.

I used to babysit for one of the Edmonton Oilers back when Wayne Gretzky played for them. I met him a couple of times.
When I got older I partied with the Canadian Comedy troupe the Kids in the Hall at a local nightclub. I even danced with Dave Foley to "What Time is Love" by the KLF.

I knocked down the lead singer of Sepultura in a Denny's bathroom hallway in St. Louis next to the old Club 367. He was on the pay phone and I didn't see him because I was talking to my friend behind me. CRASH!
So YES I run into him.
really.
Later at the concert he brought me up on stage and I did a stage dive into the mosh pit.
Strange but true.
