If you are breast feeding it wont return until you stop . Other wise it usually returns around 8 weeks.

My son is four months old. I started my period about 10 days after i stop bleeding from the birth. so u should start anytime. Everyone is diffrent. If u dont start by ur 6 week check-up ask the dr.

Its different for everyone. Breastfeeding can keep it away for awhile, but it doesn't ALWAYS do so. My son couldn't breastfeed, due to medical issues, but I was pumping. Mine showed up just after my 6 week check-up, which was approximately 4 weeks after I had stopped bleeding from the delivery.

I started taking the pill after my 6-week post-partum check up, and then my periods went back to normal then. If you're breast feeding though, I'm sure it's differnt.
Sorry if my answer didn't help much. My baby is 10 and it's hard to remember exactly.

I don't believe there is a time line. I've heard that when you stop breastfeeding but I got mine while I was still breastfeeding.

well my twins are going on 3 months old and I haven't had mine yet! My doctor says that it is OK. So I say don't rush it. Enjoy yourself while its gone!!!
Oh, I had a tubal ligation 6 weeks after delivery too. Don't know if that made a difference.
