I recommend a spot very in tuned with nature, and a romantic picnic, prefferably somewhere you guys had a special moment in Texas. This will bring back many memories for the both of you which gives you that romantic feeling, plus theres no one looking in the wilderness!! :) GL

San Antonio's really hot this time of year, but the River Walk is great and there's plenty to do. Definitely a romantic spot.

However, I would strongly suggest coming down to South Padre Island. It's just awesome this time of year, and very affordable for what you're getting. Never underestimate a week on the beach. It's much nicer than Galveston, btw.

Just thought of another great one if you're looking at less of a city experience. Go check out Bandera, Texas outside of San Antonio. I've been there a few times, and it's a nice getaway spot with lots of timeshares, condos, hotels, golf-courses, ranches, and other things.

Why don't you go to the Riverwalk in San Antonio? Or they are always advertising on TV that the casinos in Louisiana are really close.
