That is SO HARD to narrow down! You had all the Molly Ringwald movies (Pretty in Pink, 16 candles, etc...)
The ORIGINAL Star Wars movies,
Tootsie,
Stripes (w/Bill Murray)
Arthur (w/Dudley Moore)
What was the name of the Mermaid movie w/Darryl Hannah?
Was Big an 80's movie w/Tom Hanks?

"UNDER FIRE" (1983) starred Nick Nolte, Ed Harris, Gene Hackman; The film revolved around the life of a photographer in the war torn Central America. A beautiful film with very strong political imagery and content.

Mine just barely qualifies as it was released in 1980. It's the movie Xanadu with Olivia Newton John. Yes, it's really cheesy, but for some reason I've always liked it.

Stand By Me is the best movie of the 80's. The storyline is simple, but it really evokes so many emotions out of you while watching it. The acting is amazing too, which is really cool because all of the actors in the movie were really young.

The Breakfast Club.... Judd Nelson, ever the bad boy! Yee Haw! Anthony Michael Hall... who knew he'd grow up to be so good lookin. Besides who can't relate to those high school antics in one way or another, we all fell into one of those catagories.
