If your hair is curly, it is impossible to let it "dry straight." Take a round brush (the type with bristles all the way around,) wrap small sections of hair around it, and hold a blow dryer to each piece as you blow dry down. Once that is complete, purchase a relatively good flat iron and flat iron each piece for a smooth, polished look. Finish the look with some sort of anti-frizz balm or by spraying hairpsray in your hand and running it over the frizzy areas.

You blow dry it straight with a circular metal brush.

well, i personally find that brushing it while it's wet helps it straighten out a bit. =)
