But boy, can they spend big buck$$$ on war!

It usually takes a Republican to win a war. Look at Vietnam...took two Democrats to get us into an ugly mess and one Republican to get us out.
And I second the statement that Republicans did win the Civil War.

They can't win wars because their wars are unjustified and, honestly, what exactly have they been going to war for? There is no real goal or objective. If there were, they would know why they are fighting a war and ultimately their goal. But I guess, in a way, they have won a war. By going to war they have succeeded in padding each others pockets by awarding contracts to each others companies. Score another low morals point for the republicans

It is because there is just entirely too much money to be made with ongoing war....It is their covert way of bolstering an otherwise impotent economy---when all else fails--start spending heavy in the military / industrial sector--and it is seemingly bulletproof --because to talk agaisnt it is seen as Unamerican---A close look at how many high ranking Republicans who have heavy investments in the military supply and support sector should key one to some kind of question as to why this is---it certainly is not to show their support for a nation at war

Winning wars doesnt make money. Staying in a war makes lots of money.

first off, winning a war is a very hard thing to do in modern warfare, very few winners. Even harder to win when you dont know what the war was for in the first place!!

Very nice foto. I'd have a hard time talking war with someone with an expression such as this. Are we at war? Really? I'm not gullible.
