An apprentice is someone who works for a licensed electrician and is registered with the state as an apprentice. An electrician has to have so many worked hours before they can become licensed. PLUS you have to go to school too. It usually takes about 4 years to get licensed. BUT it is worth it. Licensed electricians can make alot of money!!
