Liberalism has replaced discipline in the family with tolerance. In the eyes of Liberalists, parents are to tolerate children rather than raise and discipline them. Obviously, this is a faulty ideology. No one by nature has the knowledge, wisdom, or understanding to guide themselves. These are gained with age and time. Resisting the guidance of one's parents or elders is resisting knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. Liberalism assumes that all rules, doctrine, and discipline are oppressing. Ironically, Liberalism establishes its own rules, doctrine, and discipline.

Feminism has also hindered the family and marriage. It's an ideology that imposes in women a certain paranoia. Women have become reluctant of any advice, suggestion, or instruction from a man or their husband. Assuming men's intentions are always based on oppression and male chauvinism. In the same respect, women are often offended when their advice, suggestion, or instruction is not accepted. Again, assuming their rejection is based on male chauvinism. Feminism has also caused envy between brothers and sisters. Any attention given to a brother is assumed, by a feminist sister, to be solely because he is male, despite any of his accomplishments. Any attention given to a sister is assumed, by a feminist-scarred brother, to be solely based on political correctness. Despite any accomplishments she may have.

Liberalism in parenting has spoiled the kids. Liberalism in relationships might fuel distrust. Feminism has strengthened the family by empowering the traditionally less powerful, economically speaking, side of the family. Ideas are nothing to fear.
