He was an agent of the Roman Empire hired to convince the Jews that the Messiah would not be a liberator from foreign oppression as Moses had been. He also had a pacifist message so the Jews wouldn't fight. The Romans, who also hired the high priests to keep the Jews in line, crucified Jesus when he failed to make the Jews into wimps and instead insulted the high priests.

Jesus is the physical manifestation of God the Father. He is the Son and second person of the Trinity. He is God. He is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last, I AM, El Shaddai, God Almighty, Adonai, Wonderful, Councelor, the mighty God, Prince of Peace, Immanuel, Redeemer, the Son of Man, the Joy of mankind, the mediator between God and man, our Peace, Jehovah, Messiah, the Bread of Life, the Way, the Truth, and the Life...just to name a few.

Jesus the son of Mary and Joseph, is the Son of God. He was sent to be offered as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind. He is the final and ultimate blood sacrifice, those who believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God will recieve eternal life, accept Jesus as your personal savior and begin to live according to his teaching, seek to improve each day, you will never be perfect but make the effort.

Jesus of Nazareth was born to a Jewish Mother (Mary) around 0 AD in the middle east. He lspoke hebrew and lived his life as a carpenter by the laws of the Torah (old testament). Jesus died at the hands of the Romans for carrying to much of a following (this was against the law at the time).
It is proposed by the bible that he was turned in to the romans by one of his diciples (Judah). And there is emerging evidence that Jesus actually asked Judah (his closest diciple) to turn him in.
What do you think will be the significance of this new evidence as it spreads? It is based on scrolls discovered from around the time of jesus's death.

Jesus is our Savior. He died for our sins to be forgiven and so we can have eternal life if we have faith in God and ask for forgiveness of our sins, he was nailed to a cross, he is the Son of God. He was the only perfect person on earth. The virgin Mary gave birth to him.
