Prenatal care is around $3000.00
Ultrasounds are around $400/each ( will at least have 2)
Hospital will easily run $10,000 and up if it vaginal
Epiderual/anesthesiologist $2000.
If the baby requires the NICU then its about $1000./day
Of course all these are just the tip of the iceburg. Diapers are about $1.80/day , wipes about the same , formula is around $25.00 a week , then you have clothing , vaccines , child care, carseat , crib and so on....... For something so small they sure cost a lot!!!!!!!

If you're planning on paying out of pocket, figure about $10,000 at least. Because you're going to have charges for the hospital for mom and for baby, charges for the OB-GYN and the pediatrician who checks the baby. And that's assuming you have a healthy baby and a straight easy delivery. Any complications, you're looking at more money.

Now are you only talking about medical expenses for prenatal & delivery or do you mean on a whole scale? First don't consider it without health insurance unless your a millionaire & in that case you wouldn't be without insurance but on an average about $50,000 & it goes up every year that's without private school, camp for summer, daycare,ETC it's pretty rough!!!
