here's what i did and it worked pretty much..
workout with heavy weights for a full month.. take as much protien as u can. like beef, chicken, eggs and dairy products..
then the second step leave bodybuilding completely for one month.. ur body will grow very quickly and will also develope some fat and u'll start lookin disgusting..
then the third and final step.. start again with light dumbles and as much reps as u can..
worked for me.. i got alot of muscle weight using that technique..
and by the way dont get worried about girls sayin that they dont like bulky men.. they r lieing.. they do like them

After reading these questions there are a lot of good information throughout most of them. The former bodybuilder is right you can't turn fat into muscle and vice versa they are two different parts of the body. If you want to get bigger more lean muscles first stay away from cardio that burns to many calories and you can get the same results from lifting weights. Secondly start eating more healthy carbs and lots of protien. How often do you eat? You should be eating at least every 2 to 3 hours with breakfast being your largest meal. Third when lifting weights start concetrating on multi muscle lifts like squats, clean and jerk, barbell bench press. When lifting use a weight that only allows you to force 6 to 8 reps per set and do 3 to 4 sets of each. If you can do 6 to 8 reps easily than the weight is to light and you need to use more. Never sacrifice saftey or form for weight especially if you have never done the exercise before that is how people get hurt. These tips should get you started good luck and be safe.

To gain weight from weightlifting you have to cut down on how many sets and reps you do. If you only get cuts you are in that phase of your program. Do more of a power lifting workout, this will cut down the time you workout and use less calories to do the workout. Also to add more calories to your diet drink an instant breakfast with each of your meals. Also eating alot of protein isn't the answer. Any protein the body does not use it,it goes down the john.Carbs help you gain weight and use the protein you do take.

First of all fat can NOT turn into muscle ever. Fat is under the skin, useless and muscles are attached to bones and give power and stability to body. well i like slim look, but if u want to look perfect then u well need 1 to 2 years to build up all muscles naturally. By this i mean that never EVER use creatin or other synthetic things to make it fast. Look for a chart of protien content in veg and non veg food and decide what u like to have. Dont workout, but do heavy muscle building exercises. ask a trainer in a good gym, and do it uniformly, don't force it too much or u will strain u'r muscles. Muscles grow up slowly and u wont notice the change on a daily basis. so dont give up, but dont have even a day;s break because regularity is everything in gym. Hope u will choose it the best answer.

The fat is going away and it slowly purely comes off your physique. once you exercising consultation your muscular tissues are being torn down and dammaged. After your exercising consultation your physique will initiate repairing your muscular tissues. (for this reason the muscle aches) in case you consume some protien suitable after understanding chicken that provides your physique some thing to help replace the muscle. properly your physique knows which you will choose greater muscle then you definately might desire to proceed the exercising consultation you purely did so your physique will construct greater muscle in it particularly is place. -Connor

You can take creatin. When my brother played football the coaches told him to eat peanut butter sandwiches to gain weight.

Pure and simple, consume more calories. If you eat 2000 calories a day now, bump it up to 2500 or 3000. Keep working out, and you'll get bigger. Keep the fat intake fairly low.

Personally I like the lean cut look. But I think if you want to bulk up you should increase your protein....they sell shakes for that.

It takes years to grow big gigantic muscles, and everyone cant do that, we all have a genetic potential. Some people just cant get big, no matter what they do.
