Usually, all-stars are voted by namesake, not stats, and it's a shame that many desrving players don't even get the chance to go. If I was voting for the all-star game today and I was the manager, the lineup would be like this:

For the American League, I vote for Detroit Tiger Players since the Tigers are my favorite team of all times and for the National League, I choose a variety of players from different teams including my three favorite, the Chicago Cubs, New York Mets, and the Atlanta Braves.

I a amazed that Mike Lowell from the Red So has not been mentioned by many. He is having a great year at the plate and in the field and deserves to be selected as the all-star third baseman in the AL.
